You along with the millions on Twitter love it. Why are we so fascinated by what P.Diddy is eating for lunch, or what car your long-lost-cousin-twice-removed finally purchased. The voyeuristic part of you that just NEEDS to know about what other people are doing who you don’t actually care enough about to talk to?
How much is too much? We’ve all heard the nightmare stories of people getting fired over tweeting the “wrong thing at the wrong time”, or the slightly stalker-esque qualities that Twitter may bring out of the most well meaning of us, and we all know the “over-tweet” (buddy, I don’t care that you just ate a cheeseburger). But is there actually EVER going to be too much? Maybe this is just how we are ALL going to be thinking and interacting in the future. And to be completely honest, it isn’t that scary. We all live our lives real-time, and now that technology can allow us to BE more real-time 24/7, what’s wrong with taking advantage of it?
